shopping

we all go to cite europe etc for boose/food but has anyone investigated the cost of tyres in france? - mine are due for renewing

does anyone have good alternatives to cite europe for wine, I just like cheapish plonk, up to about 5-6 euros a bottle

Very close to Cite Europe is Auchan hypermarket with Sainsbury%26#39;s across the car park. Lots of places around Calais besides this, some off the first junction you come to on leaving the ferry port.

A small place I%26#39;ve found recently is pretty well stocked with wine good stuff and well priced, and they sell the boxes of wine. Never busy and English staff it%26#39;s very good. It%26#39;s called the Wine Temple and about 5 mins from Auchan.

If you need directions just ask

Regards tyres that depends on what your after and whether there are specials on offer.

If you know Auchan in the same complex as them by Sainsburys is a Maxauto or Norauto (type of Halfords) they do tyres, then if not on the road from Auchan back into Calais (N1) there is another outlet on the right Speedy I think (a Quick Fit fitter thing) try them too
