I arrive CDG at 8:00 am from USA. How long will it take to clear customs and take the RER B and transfer to the metro and arrive at the Courcelles station? When I depart CDG for London Heathrow how early do I have to arrive at CDG and will I have to clear customs again when I land in london? Thank you.

My experience is that it takes a good 2 1/2 - 3 hours between the time you land and the time you arrive at your Paris central location.
If your final destination is London, you will have to go through customs. If you are in transit, it will be easier even though these days you have to show your passport at all those unexpected check points. Like before you step on the plane.

The wild card at CDG is that if there are multiple planes arriving at once, the lines to get to baggage claim can be very slow. Also, you can%26#39;t assume that your plane will be on time (and the lines are even worse if there are several large planes that are late but arrive at once).

the last few times, we breezed through passport control and customs and were into the city in about an hour and a half -- but I%26#39;d assume at least 2.5-3 hours -- it is unlikely to be worse than that

To run26.2: How long did it take you get through customs at CDG? We will be using a shared shuttle van to get to a train station in Paris. Assuming our plane arrives nearly on time, I%26#39;m trying to figure out how to allow for customs so I can tell the company a pick up time.
ThanK you.
