Can anyone recommend a restaurant that serves a moderately priced traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. I saw one at %26quot;Breakfast in America%26quot; but their reviews were not very good.
My husbank and I will be ariving in Paris on the 22nd and are looking forward to sampling all the French dishes, but we would like to celebrate Thanksgiving with turkey.
Thank you,

Head to the Thanksgiving in Paris restaurant--best to make a reservation. See here:

Joe Allen%26#39;s serves a decent Thanksgiving dinner. We%26#39;ve eaten at Break%26quot;fast in America. It was pretty good. My feeling is when in France%26quot;. You can always have a turkey dinner when you get home.

As previously noted, these three are the most frequent choices for a traditional American-style Thanksgiving dinner (turkey %26amp; trimmin%26#39;s) in Paris--

We attempted to go to Thanksgiving in America last year for Thanksgiving but thery were sold out. The place is pretty small. I%26#39;m told that the restuarant called %26quot;Thanksgiving %26quot;serves Cajun style. There si aplace in the 7th that has takeout turkey sandwichs called The Real Mc Coy.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions, this is a tremendous resourse for travelers. I have been reading the posts for months and we are finally leaving next Wed. It will be my first trip to Paris since college, many years ago.
In regard to Thanksgiving, in most cases I agree %26quot;when in Paris%26quot;, but we Southerners are pretty sentimental about holidays. I think that I will go ahead and try to make a reservation at Breakfast in America.
KD- I%26#39;m sorry that my post wasn%26#39;t clear about their review.
The negative comments were actually about their breakfast and not specifically about the Thanksgiving dinner, and I read them on TripAdvisor. I just did a search on the forum for BIA.
HAPPY THANKSGIVING

I was curious about this. I spoke to someone a couple of years ago who stumbled onto this special Thanksgiving event by accident...were able to get a last minute reservation...tried it...and enjoyed the food and holiday experience. It was evidently something of a hoot. This so you understand that this is a speclal %26#39;..event..%26#39; and B-i-A evidently does it up for the occasion.

Just a note that per their website, only the rue des Ecoloes location is doing Thanksgiving. The other rue Malher is promising some %26quot;limited amounts of turkey plates as the special du jour%26quot;.

%26quot;But, after all, I do hope you have a really good %26quot;Thanksgiving%26quot; --- that%26#39;s the holiday that most Americans %26quot;celebrate%26quot; for having taken away the ancestral lands of the Indigenous Peoples%26quot; of the %26quot;Americas%26quot; and claiming them as their own..... Bravo!!!

Obviously you learned history from a different book than I. My family celebrates Thanksgiving to appreciate all the blessing that we have,
for example being able to travel and enjoy other cultures. I find that for most people travel broadens their horizons and keeps them from being small minded and petty.
We would like to have a Thanksgiving dinner, much in the same way that a Frenchman in the US might want to go to a French restaurant on Bastille Day. I would not consider that demanding, ostentatious or boorish.
Enough said, it is time to pack.
