Paris to Dover

What is the quick way to go from Paris to Dover

High speed EUROSTAR train from PARIS-Gare du Nord to ASHCROFT...then train from ASHCROFT to DOVER-Priory station.

OR....................

High speed TGV train from PARIS-Gare du Nord to LILLE...then regional SNCF / TER train to CALAIS (be careful of routings that require station changes between LILLE-Flandres and LILLE-Europe)...then channel ferry from CALAIS across to DOVER.

The train station is Ashford in Kent but not all trains stop there.
