Caveau de la Huchette or Oubliettes?

I will be in Paris for one night (staying in Latin Qtr) in Dec 2007 and want to go experience some nightlife. I have narrowed it down to Caveau de la Huchette %26amp; Caveau des Oubiliettes. Which would you recommend?

Thanks!

hi Moonpie67, we know le Caveau de la Huchette, sometimes R%26amp;R concerts, sometimes jazz concerts, often a dance school on the floor, 1st class exhibition, nice atmo ...consult the program, adm. fees on : www.caveaudelahuchette.fr

No idea about Caveau des Oubliettes, they have an internet site, but no program available for december. No admittance fees and drinks from 5 euros, cheaper than La Huchette.

You have one more not so far : Le Petit Journal Saint Michel :

and another one in the 14th : Le Petit Journal Montparnasse :

Buy a Pariscope and look at concert programs for jazz and other types of music. It all depends what you like. I do like Petit Journal saint Michel and Petit Journal Montparnasse, not as close but you can walk back.
