expensive city

We%26#39;re heading to Paris at the end of November with our two kids. Any suggestions on budget, family-friendly accomodation in this very expensive city? We don%26#39;t want to blow our meager budget!

if anyone can send me info at HoboKelly2007@wikichat.com I%26#39;d really appreciate.

on the left-hand side of this page, there are several very important tools:

The search box: enter %26quot;Paris budget%26quot; in this box -- you%26#39;ll see hundreds of returns from this site discussing visiting Paris on a budget.

Just below that, under the %26quot;Paris%26quot; header is a link for %26quot;Paris Deals%26quot; -- more suggestions.

And just below that, under %26quot;Paris Forum%26quot; (where you are now) is a link for %26quot;Paris Discount Hotels%26quot;.

Take a look through those, then feel free to post any questions you still have.

Post your hotel budget( in euros) people here will be able to suggest many budget choices, but everyones idea of %26quot;budget %26quot; is different.

Hotel Des Mines ( search it on your computer ) is farily cheap, but there are many others. This hotel is clean, cheap and nice staff, good location, I have stayed there. Rooms are very SMALL though.

Buy snacks at many little stores etc and have picnics.

Eat at cafes not restaurants. Always check prices on menus before you go in, all places MUST have their menu displayed outside so you can see if the prices are right for you.

In Latin Quarter there are many cheap places to eat 10-15 euros for two or three course dinners, nothing fancy, but food.

Do not buy kids soda or pop at cafes , they often are VERY expensive, ask for tap water , it is fine to drink. Buy them pop etc at a little store as a treat, it is cheapest there.
