Xmas in Cannes?

Anyone ever spent Christmas Eve/Christmas Day in Cannes? Any hotel recommendations or recommended activities (assuming anything is open)?

Hotels, and their dining rooms, will certainly be open--Cannes is a year-round resort town. There are many hotels to choose from; what is your price range?

I am going to Cannes for Christmas also, would be interested in learning of any good restaurants for a christmas day lunch?
