My husband and I are looking for the best charming hotel in Paris for a four day trip next June. We%26#39;ve been many times before but want something very special this trip. We%26#39;re considering the hotel le Relais Medici, the Hotel le Sainte-Beuve, the Hotel Left Bank Saint-Germain, and the Hotel le Saint-Gregoire. Location close to Metro and restaurants is important, and we also really would like someplace QUIET.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

For my wife%26#39;s 50th, we stayed at the Hotel Nepoleon. 40, avenue de Friedland. A wonderful 4 star hotel just a block from the Arc . The airport Airfrance shuttle bus will leave you off two blocks from the hotel. In the %26quot;Old Days%26quot; Errol Flynn, and Orson Wells where just a few of their guests. You can read my and other reviews on this site. The hotels web site is: hotelnapoleonparis.com

The Saint-Beuve is quiet and charming. But for your other requirements you might consider the Madison--it%26#39;s right across the street from the St-Germain métro. The hotel sits back from the Blvd. St-Germain, behind a small %26quot;place,%26quot; and windows are double-glazed. We never heard any street noise while there, even with a room on the front. Rooms on the fifth floor have marvelous views, but any of the front rooms--especially the corner ones--have views of the church opposite and little balconies. There are loads of good restaurants nearby.
