CDG T1 to TGV station

Hi!

My plane is due to arrive at CDG T1 at 9.20am. I will need to collect one case that would be checked in and then onto the TGV station.

Do you think i will be able to get to the TGV station for a train which leaves at 10.28am? (the next one is at 11.50am!)

Thanks

I would take the 11:50 and have a cafe creme. 10:28 is very tight IMO.

|||

yes it is very tight, but i have already booked my ticket.

I understand that i can get on the next train with my ticket?

BUT when i was booking my ticket, the 11.50 train was more expensive than the 10.28 train. Will i still be able to use the ticket on the 11.50?

It can take anywhere from 30-to-60 minutes to clear formalities and collect luggage at CDG. Even with the new CDGVAL automated shuttle train (CDGVAL entrance located on the lowest %26#39;..Boutiquaire..%26#39; level of CDG#1...train frequency 1-every-4 mins..8 mins CDG #1-to-CDG #2 TGV) it can still take 20-30 minutes to get from the Exits from Customs after luggage collection to the CDGVAL station..and then between CDG #1 and CDG #2 TGV. Do the math....book a later train.

Thanks for this.

Im thinking i might get a one day Mobilis Ticket. Can i buy one at CDG?

See my plan is to go to Disneyland to drop of my luggage and then go back into paris to see the sights. So with a 1 day Mobilis, zone 1 to 5, i could get a train into Chatelet-Less Halles, then a train out to Marne Le Vallee -Chessy. Then later on in the day i can use the same ticket and cut down on price.

Does this sound like a good idea?

Evidently you%26#39;re planning on using the TGV connection between CDG and MARNE La VALLÉE for DisneyLand Paris.

Just so we%26#39;re clear...the one-calendar-day (from First Train AM until Last Train PM) MOBILIS pass specifically EXCLUDES ALL AIRPORT TRANSFERS...so it will not be valid for RER %26#39;B%26#39; or ROISSYBUS transfer between CDG and Paris.

For travel between DisneyLand Paris, from the MARNE LA VALLÉE-CHESSY RER station into central Paris a one-day MOBILIS Zone 1-5 pass (12,50€) will cover your r.t. RER %26#39;A%26#39; ligne fare (regular r.t. RER %26#39;A%26#39; fare 12,60€) plus provide you with %26#39;hop-on/hop-off%26#39; convenience for ALL of your public transportation (RER, Metro, Bus, Tram, Funicular Noctilien) requirements while in Paris.

As for transfering your ticket to a later train, if you%26#39;ve purchased a %26#39;..LOISIR..%26#39; fare category--

%26quot;...Loisir : Ticket can be exchanged and refunded (administrative charge applies) before departure and cannot be exchanged or refunded after departure...%26quot;

So if you change the ticket BEFORE your train departs...you will pay any difference in fares...plus..the administrative change charge....BUT... if you MISS your pre-booked train, you%26#39;re outta%26#39; luck.

Bonne chance.

To purcahse a one-day MOBILIS pass, you would have to go down to the lower RER level of CDG #2...and there%26#39;s no advantage---and plenty of potential disadvantage--to doing this at CDG. The MOBILIS pass will be readily available at MARNE LA VALLÉE-CHESSY RER when you get there.
