If you are in the Quartier Latin and get hungry for a sandwich, hop on over to Stratto. Good prices, friendly atmosphere. It%26#39;s right around [m] Odéon. I had their bolognaise - yummy! And when I asked for un verre d%26#39;eau, instead of heading towards the sink, the man opened A NEW BOTTLE OF EVIAN and poured me a cup :O Quality service!

Address: 95 Bd St. Germain 75006 Paris.

Hi,

On Place de Beruit, corner of Marceau and Pierre 1er de Serbie is Noura Lebanese restaurant, good fresh food.

On Rue Chaillot you%26#39;ll find a selection reasonable eateries.

A few blocks away toward the Champs on the corner of Francois 1er and Marbeuf you%26#39;ll find l%26#39;Entrecote, a steak house that is always busy...

Also if you are in the neighborhood on a Wednesday or Saturday walk towards the Alma Marceau metro and on the Avenue President Wilson you%26#39;ll find the local market... a wonderful market, colorful and worth the time to get a nice slice of Parisian life. Market happens from 8am to 1:30pm

Prices will always be better in the Latin Quarter

A couple of my favourite places to eat in the 5th/6th arrondissement are L%26#39;Époque on rue du Cardinal-Lemoine near the Place de la Contrescarpe and L%26#39;Enfance de Lard on 21 rue Guisard near Saint-Sulpice.

They are both small, traditional restaurants that offer excellent Parisian cuisine at very reasonable prices.

Bon apetit!

%26quot;Good food at reasonable price%26quot; ? Stay off the Champs Elysées ! You should browse this forum for Quartier Latin and Saint Germain restaurants, as loads of good addresses has been posted before.

We stayed in the Latin Quarter this past Spring. One of my questions before leaving matched yours--good food at a reasonable price. I received a lot of responses but my advice to you is don%26#39;t worry about it. We were so dizzy with the new atmosphere that I forgot many of the recommendations once we were there. We ate at a lot of little places all with good food. We were able to determine if it was in our price range by looking at the menus/board listed outside the restaurant.

For lunch we often had fresh bread, cheese, and sometimes meat picked up from local shops. I am still dreaming of that fresh bread!

We did find that restaurants close to the attractions were pricier but not necessarily better. For example, my favorite meal was found at a small shop several blocks away from the eiffel tower for under 10 usd--for two!
