Can you recommend a good Paris partment rental service?

I checked out beau-paris.com and residences-paris.com, but I%26#39;d love a recommendation. I%26#39;ve only stayed in hotels before and now thinking an apartment for me and my girlfriend when we visit for 4 nights in late Jan 07. Any recs would be greatly appreciated!

Merci!

I am a fan of vacationinparis.com. Others will come along and recommend their favorites. If you stay with one of the %26quot;usual suspects%26quot;, you%26#39;ll likely have a good experience. A very nice poster did a comprehensive list of apartment agencies not too long ago. You can probably find it if you do a search in the box under the green bar above, using the words %26quot;list%26quot; and %26quot;apartment%26quot;.

VIP is based in NJ. I like that you do business in USD. They are flexible, reliable and the apartments are always clean and as pictured. I also think they are very reasonably priced. Good luck!

The site parisperfect.com has some very nice apartments; people have stayed in them think they%26#39;re excellent.

I%26#39;ve rented with www.parisattitude.com. One of my friends used to work for them. Dorothée is very helpful. The owner of our apartment was extremely helpful and friendly. The apartment was spotless and adorable.

I rented from the following for New Years week this year, so I will let you know. So far, so good.

The next lady I talked to, and absolutely loved, she called me and was French, and just wonderful. Unfortunately, she did not have anything in the 6th for me, but some nice ones in the Marais.

Also, another site I had great luck with was www.vrbo.com

It stands for vacation rental by owner. I only went with the first place because she got me a new rental that is right smack dab where I wanted to be. I was only in Paris once for 2 days, so I had limited experience and did not want to stay near the Arc again.

Good luck and I hope this helped. I find real info more helpful than general info on here.
