rue di Buci apartment Lodgis agency

any comments would be appreciated for our trip early next year

Do not know about your apartment but rue de Buci is a very lively street with a market and cafes and restaurants etc.

Seems to appeal mostly to a younger crowd. Everything you need is on that street, from apples to sunglasses.

To get to some apartments you have to walk through stores which is very akward. Look at all the details before you decide and should you prefer a quiet neighbourhood, this would not be the place.

Some apartments however face inside courtyards and are quiet.

I am staying in an apartment on Rue de Bucci over New Year%26#39;s...and I cannot wait. When I first went to Paris in August, I stayed near the Arc de triomphe, and it was very nice, but not lively at all.

Rue de Bucci area is wonderful, energetic, and dynamic!

The Left Bank is definately the place I would have preferred on my first trip. It is a short walk to all things wonderful in Paris.

Also, rent a bicycle, that is a great way to see Paris as well.

My other choices would have been very near the Pantheon, cool narrow streets with greats little pubs and shops. That is in the Latin Quarter, which is very lively close to Blvd St. Germain. Also, Ile de la Cite, one of the islands in the Seine River. I just liked the area, looked fun and centrally located.

The Marais area is happening and very nice, but I just did not love it for some reasons, though I am sure it would be nice to stay in too.
