Hi,
My husband %26amp; I are going to Europe, more specifically France in the beginning of May. We%26#39;ve never been before. After having read the good reviews about Parisbestlodge I decided to give it a try. So we mailed the contract back with the deposit yesterday. So far dealing with Theirry has been very positive. When I emailed him the first time he got back to me within minutes, and it%26#39;s sort of been that way each time. He%26#39;s very good about answering his emails in a timely fashion. We%26#39;re spending one week in Paris then on to Provence for another week. Our plan is to take the TGV to Marsielle rent a car, stick our toes in the Mediterranian and then head to Aix-en-Provence, Avignon or...... therein lies the question. We can%26#39;t decide where to hang our hat for a week. There%26#39;s a place called Une Campagne en Provence in Bras and the pictures of the accomodations look beautiful. I was wondering if anyone has ever heard of it or been there. There%26#39;s quite a few of these lovely places and it%26#39;s making the decision more difficult. If you%26#39;ve heard of it would you mind posting please. Thanks alot.

You may get a response on here from someone who is familiar with this establishment (I%26#39;m not, sorry), but it would be a good idea also to post on the Provence forum. Right above green bar (just above your post) you will see %26quot;France forums%26quot; and you can select Provence from the drop-down menu.

Good idea Berkeley. Thanks

Hello
It is a beautiful, calm place if you like the country side with vineyards and home made cooking.

Dear Merrymerry,
Taking the TGV south from Paris is an excellent idea. Marsielle may not, however, be the best place to dip your toes in the Mediterranerian. You may want to do some more research on it before deciding that%26#39;s where you want to start your journey. Of course where you end up staying for a week is also a factor as to where you pick up your car. I%26#39;ve picked up my car in both Marsielle and Avignon%26#39;s train stations. Both were easy, with easy access to major roads.
Hope you have a great time in Provence. It is beautiful and interesting.
Don%26#39;t forget to read A Year in Provence before you go.
Cheers!
