Lively and buzzy Brasserie in Paris

Hey there

I am turning 30 on Sunday and will be celebratin over a long weekend in Paris with 7 of my girlfriends.

I want to eat a french restaurant that has some atmosphere, serves cocktails and is generally quite lively.

Looking to pay between 20 - 40 euros for a dinner.

Can anyone recommend anywhere ?

Cheers

Google %26quot;Flo Brasseries%26quot; and check out La Coupole, I love it. Might be a wee bit more , but there is usaully cheaper choices on the menu, which if you find the site does in fact list the menus. Very lively and fun place( I think, but , I am not 30 anymore, LOL) Good seafood too.

Many Brasseries in Paris. 20-40 Euros yes but not with the cocktails.

La Coupole is a large famous old one.

Le Train Bleu is an other one (metro gare de Lyon). OR

Flo rue des Petites Ecuries.

Bofinger at Bastille.

Vagenende in Saint Germain.

Terminus Nord at Gare du Nord.

All those Brasseries are lively but a bit anonymous. You are not likely to connect with the locals.

Look at Chartier in the 2nd arrondissement for same Brasserie atmosphere on a budget and chatty waiters.

Hi,

I can%26#39;t recommend Chartier anymore. I used to eat there quite often during the last 20 years and either my expectations grew or it was better in the early years. I now have the feeling, locals get better service and tourists are only fed %26quot;quick and dirty%26quot;, because they never come back ...

I also loved La coupole, been there twice, loved the food. The room is definitely very lively, it is one large room, quite an impressive sight. Don%26#39;t know of they serve cocktails, as i don%26#39;t drink.

Le Grand Colbert is nice for a birthday celebration. The restaurant is beautiful; have a look :

...and the environment is amazing : beautiful galerie Vivienne (for a birthday present ?), and Palais Royal garden just across the street is magical.
