My boyfriend and I are planning a trip for next May to Europe, and we plan to fly into Brussels, and from there hit Paris, Lucerne, Nice and Barcelona in that order. Since we are going to be going through 4 countries I wasn%26#39;t sure if getting the Eurail 2nd class youth pass for $330 would be a good deal, or if buying individual tickets at the stations would be better...I can%26#39;t seem to find a definitive answer as to what the station to station prices are.
We will be covering quite a bit of distance, but we are only going to be there 2 weeks so I want most of our traveling to be via night train. The sites I have been to are a little vague about whether traveling on a night train with a pass would end up costing an extra amount on top of the pass price or not...
Any info about what the approximate costs between the cities I listed or the extra suprise prices that might be in store with a Europass would be verrry appreciated...We are poor grad students and are trying to save as much on this as possible. Thanks!

Yes it will. I think I replied to you on anothe thread.

There are no %26quot;extra surprise prices%26quot; for pass holder - but there are some good deals you can secure by booking early at the respective national rail websites and committing to a certain connection. But it is not relevant to the pass, so if it is valid on this day you simply waste a pass day.

Have you tried railsaver?
