Anyone rent an apartment with Parisaddress?

If you have rented an apartment with Parisaddress please let me know how you found your rental. We are renting an apartment from Parisaddress in early July and are a bit nervous about the choice.

We were in the midst of renting an apartment through Parisaddress and the agent was prompt, answered all of our questions and seemed very business like. Unfortunately for us, the owner decided to raise the rent 100 Euros mid-transaction because it is over New Year. We declined to go further with this owner, but the agency seemed fine.

Sorry whiteoak, I clicked before I was prepared. I did a search for www.parisaddress.com to see what I could find and the comment above was on their website. I did find one forum (one I dont know) where someone said they used the agency recently and it was fine. One good thing is that I found nothing critical of the agency on any of the 5 pages of hits and also found it mentioned on fodors forum and travelerstogo - neither saying they had used them but again no negative reviews.

Thank you for your two comments and your search re Paris Address apartment rentals. Like you, I have looked around the web and have found no negative comment thus far.

Paris Address has a blog where renters post their comments, and with the renter%26#39;s email address included. I have emailed two former renters of the apartment we are renting who on the blog endorse the apartment. Will post more info if it comes forward. You may wish to check the apartment you have rented, and if any reviews email the reviewers for further input. Also you can ask Paris Address to forward any blog comments about your rental apartment.

I appreciate that through TripAdvisor we can work together re Paris travel.

Hi Whiteoak, I have received a reply from one of the people who commented and she replied to my enquiry

%26lt;%26lt;Yes, the comment of the appartment in Paris is mine.- I really enjoyed it very much.- About the WC it is separate from the bathroom.- The WC it is near the entrance-hall and the bathroom is in the bedroom area.

I hope you really enjoy it, and I sure you wont regret it at all!

I am much heartened by that - particularly the information about the location of the WC (I had been wondering where it was as the photos of the bathroom did not show it in there).

Received an email from an April 2006 renter of the Parisaddress apartment we have rented in St. Germain des Pres. She gave a glowing report, mentioning how much they enjoyed the apartment. Also she highly recommended, as do many Paris guide books, the restaurant L%26#39;atelier de Joel Robuchon at 5 Rue de Montalembert in St. Germain des Pres. No reservations; telephone: 01-42-22-56-56.

Hi Whiteoak, My second comment maker on the flat I will be renting has also confirmed that her favourable comments for her April 2006 stay were correct and not altered by the owner. She also said she had a nice stay.

Thanks Faux . I also had an email from a second renter of the apartment we are renting and she noted that all went well with the arrangements. She related that of stays in Paris over the past eight years, this had been their best and most enjoyable. She suggested that an excellent meal can be made by picking up the eatables at Au Bon Marche, Left Bank, and taking them to one%26#39;s apartment for a very enjoyable meal.
