Two Eiffel Towers?

A friend of mine insists that there are TWO Eiffel Towers in Paris---the %26quot;real%26quot; one and a large replica. I%26#39;ve been to the real one, but have never heard of another. Is she correct?

There are 2 or 3 Statue of Liberty%26#39;s in Paris, how about that!

Maybe you are thinking of the original Statue of Liberty, which was made by Gustave Eiffel and is located very close to the Eiffel Tower???

In addition to an interesting look at the inside of the Statue of Liberty at the Arts et Metiers, there is also a statue in the middle of the Seine by the Grenelle Bridge and one in the Luxembourg Gardens-it is to the right of the gardens if the palace is at your back.

I thought the Statue of Liberty was by Bartholdi? Looking for info, I came across a picture of another one at St Cyr sur Mer saintcyrsurmer.com/saintcyrsurmer/pagecadre.… which states that it is one of FOUR authentic replicas in France. So if there is one on the Ile des Cygnes, one in the Luxembourg Gardens and the one in St Cyr, sunning itself on the Med, where is the other? I%26#39;m guessing Colmar in the Bartholdi Museum, but I can%26#39;t open their website properly to check. It would be a nice basis for a tourist itineray - Paris, Alsace and the Mediterranean

The %26#39;other%26#39; Eiffel Tower is actually in Blackpool in north west England

As far as I know, there are not 2 Eiffel Tower in Paris, except may be this one, that is a Delaunay painting you may see at Beaubourg :

Good humour reports might have come the day of the beaujolais nouveau in Paris....many might have reported seeing 2 towers that day after a couple of glasses ?
