Nice to Perpignan

Does anyone know how often trains go from Nice to Perpignan and how long it will take please.

There seems to be only two trains running from Nice to Perpignan on a regular basis. They both have two connections.

Route #1

Nice-Marseille - 9h31-11h56 (TGV)

Marseille-Montpellier - 12h54-14h20 (Corail Teoz - local train)

Montpellier - Perpignan - 14h58-1645 (TGV)

Travel time - 7h14

Route #2

Nice-Marseille - 10h03-12h38 (TGV)

Marseille-Avignon Centre - 12h59-14h06 (TER - local train)

Avignon Centre - Perpignan - 15h25-18h18 (TER - local train)

Travel time - 8h15

...Quite a long day on the train!

Alternatively,

if you split the itinerary into sections:

Nice-Marseille - trains run at least every hour, sometimes within a few minutes of each other - 2h30 by TGV

Marseille-(Narbonne)-Perpignan - 3h24 (Corail)

Travel time - about 6 hours.

If six hours on a train doesn%26#39;t sound like your thing, you may want to consider another mode of transportation, or spending the day/night somewhere to split your trip.

Your best bet is conecting through Montpellier. Takes 6:42.
