We have just today returned from a very enjoyable 3 day break in Nice. To say that we have been lucky with the weather would be an understatement, it has been glorious sunshine and we really did not want to leave this morning. Back home now in a very rainy UK and to think, just this morning we were sitting at a beech cafe in beautiful warm Nice, wish I was back already. Yesterday we took the short bus ride to lovely Eze village, spent just a few hours or so, enjoying the views, a coffee and a sandwich in the local cafe, simple stuff, but it does not get much better really. On Monday we had a few hours in Villefranche, quiet as you would expect at this time, very pleasant. For the rest of our time in Nice, we just wondered about this lovely place, a bit to eat and drink, kept thinking how fortunate to enjoy this lovely weather in November. Stayed at the Regence Hotel on Rue Messena, I will review this later in the appropriate section.
