Is this place worth visiting of an evening and is there anything we need to be wary of????

I am only aware it has some sort of reputation but unsure how bad it is, if we (my wife %26amp; I) are not pestered or verbally abused then a walk in the park could be ok.
I don%26#39;t have any pre-conceived ideas and allow people to be whatever they want to be, just so long as they don%26#39;t pester me.

Once in the early 90s, some Parisian friends took my wife and me for a drive through part of the Bois, just after dusk, in mid-summer. They didn%26#39;t prepare us for what we were going to see: a parade of prostitutes openly flashing parts of their anatomy. Literally a couple dozen along the small road. It was at first rather hilarious and shocking, but then upon reflection, quite sad. These were women who were being cruelly exploited, who likely were immigrants from outside France.
Perhaps the Bois is safer now than it was then (we never got out of our cars, nor did we dare back then), perhaps in winter this sort of thing doesn%26#39;t happen. But that%26#39;s what I saw 15 or so years ago.
