2 people, not really looking for bargains or high end places including transportation, meals, excursions and visits or maybe shopping souvenirs, and tips. No more than 100 Euros a day or $1000~ 1200 for the whole week... is it posssible?

I take it that does not include your accommodation. It can be done, anything can be done, but if you are including accommodation in your 100 euros I would say no. I generally only take that amount, if I spend too much one day I make up for it the next, but I do hasten to add, that I do take an emergency supply just in case, so far I have never had to use it. It also depends on what excursions you want to take, does this mean you want to go further afield than Paris or the excursions are just in and around Paris.

We always allow 70 Euro per person per day. A typical budget could look like this:-
Breakfast 6 euro
Transport pass for the day 5.60 euro (1 day Mobilis zones 1 and 2)
Museum entry/ other tourist attraction 10 euro - they vary.
Coffee stops (2) 7 euro
Lunch 10 euro max - either baguette and crepes from a take away place or a cheap sit down eg in Latin Quarter.
Dinner 30 euro ; this should be possible to include a glass of wine but you%26#39;ll need to look away from %26#39;tourist central%26#39;.
That%26#39;s 68.60 I think, and as you can see it does not include any excursions or souvenirs (we%26#39;ve done that several times so can trim our budget right down). Excursions are expensive but you can do a lot on your own with the fantastic public transport system. What did you have in mind?
Hope that helps.

Thank you for your reply,
All accommodations are already paid, including the taxi pick up and drop off to the Airport (150 dollars shared van) I heard just in meals could be expensive, and all the excursions will be locally (around Paris) That%26#39;s my planned budget: Airport Taxi, metro, maybe see a show, museums, meals Eiffel Tower and buying souveniers all together for $1000~1200 even 1500 I hope is less.
Thanks again!

Sorry lol, I have a broken english, when I meant excursions in my spanish means like going for a stroll or take the metro or bus or the boat and visit all the famous places. I rather doing it myself than paying someone for a tour.
Kind regards!

Antonio, please include in your budget a good guide book that you should purchase ahead of time, and perhaps a small map. I like Rick Steves guidebooks, and the DK Paris Top 10 book is about $12. Keep an eye out for the %26#39;Pop-Up%26#39; maps, or other small folding maps. Read ahead, and look for tips on buying a museum pass- this will help you to see some museums for less money!
The food and beverages can really get you- sitting down for a soda looking at Notre Dame and we paid $6 each for a small coke I think. We knew what we were getting into though, and were really paying for the view- just remember that whenever you sit down at any cafe!
Be prepared for picnics on the go, and you can buy a baguette and carry it around in your bag for snacks during the day.

This is what we spent on a recent visit. Two people, various meals in euros and $%26#39;s, a few museums, tea, and post card stamps...

Let me add my 2 cents (pun intended). Summer 2002, myself and 17 y/o daughter. Not including accomodations, airport transfer and Paris Visite pass we ran through about 1,200 E in seven days. We bought a number of the pricey guides to the the major museums, a couple of small copper sauce pans and small kitchen tools and ate well but but not extravagantly well. This included a side trip to Versailles. So if I were planning the same sort of first trip today I would budget $1,500E to be safe.
If you don%26#39;t share our penchant for patries the you might even get by in the 1,200 range.

I think that to really enjoy Paris and not feel like you are skipping simple pleasures like a glass of wine at a cafe, it takes between 60 and 100 Euros per person and per day without hotels and taxis. 60 is of course harder to accomplish than 100 and do not try to see a play or a show on this budget.

I don%26#39;t know your ages but if you are students make sure to bring your ID%26#39;s. My daughter was able to get admission discounts at many sites with hers.
Have fun!

And remember, do not sit down at a cafe (especially outside chairs) and order coca cola......frankly, wine is usually cheaper but always go inside and sit at the bar.....there are always several rates and the inside bar rate is less....you can look out the window...or go into a grocery s tore, buy your drinks and go sit down outside in a park
Avoid cabs....you really don%26#39;t need them at all.....take the Metro (most tourists cannot figure out the buses but they are really good and if you buy a good guide book and study the bus routes, this will give you an option, especially if you want to see things along the route) or best of all, WALK! you will see more and it is free
As an American, everything to buy will be more expensive than at home so unless you have to bring gifts to people, treat yourself to special dinners, not purchases......and save this way....Just try to eat away from tourist areas....go away from the Seine into the 5th or even the 6th where the French eat, try the 13th and 14th and stay away from the 1st and 8th for food if possible. Enjoy
