As we are trying to budget for how much cash to bring to our trip to France, does someone know if you can with VISA at places such as the Eiffel Tower and Musee Orsay?

Yes, you can purchase tickets at the Eiffel Tower with credit cards -- I don%26#39;t remember about the d%26#39;Orsay, but would wager that you could pay with CC there, too.
As far as cash -- ATM, ATM, ATM.. Way easier and way safer than wandering around with hundreds of dollars of cash on your person.
