Myself and my husband will be in France from 6-17 Dec with our 6 month old. We were in Paris in Feb 07 so interested in getting out of Paris instead for something different, perhaps hiring a car which is a good options for the baby. I have started looking at different regions of France but am so confused, does anyone have any recommended trips for 8-10 days or so?? I was wondering if Toulouse and Carcassone were good options for perhaps Provence?

Toulouse and Carcassonne are outside the traditional borders of Provence. Toulouse is in th Midi-Pyrénées, while Carcassone is in the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
From what I have read, both places are quite nice, but I%26#39;m unsure as to what it would be like to spend 8-10 days there. Try posting in the fora ffor those respective cities.
I made a goList about seeing France outside of Paris. You may use it as a starting point if you%26#39;d like. tripadvisor.com/GoListDetail-i15422-Visiting…
