How much does Paris Museum Pass allow you to see Versailles?

If you buy for example 2day 30€ Museum Pass, what advantages will it give you in Versailles? This site: parismuseumpass.com/en/… suggests free entrance. But to all parts of Versailles?

Thanks in advance for your tips as I%26#39;m planning on visiting Versailles next week

We used that same pass when we went in June. We saw the chateau tour (state apartments, kings and queens%26#39; bedrooms, hall of mirrors, chapel). We were also able to enter the Trianons and the Hameau with the pass.

If you are there during the week the entrance to the gardens is free. If you are there on a fountain display day (sat and sun during the summer) then the gardens are extra (7E).

The pass is fine, EXCEPT that you do not get the audiotour which is included with regular entry.

How much extra is the audio tour?

we bought the audio tour last december when we went to versailles on our museum pass, don;t quote me but i think the audo guide was approx 6 euros....we got one for each of us but at some sights in europe we only ever bought one audio guide and shared it, with each taking turns to listen to the commentary....money saver for us cheapskates! had i not had the audio guide of versailles i think i wouldn;t have enjoyed it as there is a lot of history to learn from the guide.
