Parking in Paris near the Eiffel Tower

Hello

For reasons too tedious to go into here, I%26#39;m going to Paris on Friday, and need to park as close to the Eiffel Tower as humanly possible without ramming into the thing.

All being well, I%26#39;ll be getting there around 8pm-ish. Can anyone recommend a nearby car park, and give me an idea if there%26#39;s any chance of finding a space at that time of day?

We were just there in Paris at the Hilton Paris (18 Avenue de Suffren, Paris, France 75015) which is 1/2 block from the south side of the Eiffel Tower off Avenue de Suffren. There is street parking in the area but unless you get real lucky and have a tiny car I think it may be stressful.

I would suggest parking at the Hilton (valet is 26 Euro and self 24 Euro). We heard from another Hilton guest who had a friend in apartment building nearby that they parked at the Hilton as their place has no parking. Otherwise another close, adjacent hotel is the Mercure Tour Eiffel Grenelle 64, Boulevard de Grenelle which I checked also has guest parking for 19 Euro).
