We%26#39;ll be in Paris on Saturday Dec 1, as we%26#39;ll spend the night of Friday there, before taking a plane of Saturday evening (leaving from ORY at 21:00). So we%26#39;ll have nearly a whole day to kill on beautiful and cold Paris!
My friend and me have been to Paris many times before, so all the typical %26quot;must-sees%26quot; are already done. We are thinking on visiting the musée du Quai Branly. We are staying in a hotel near this museum (15ème, next the 7ème)
- anyone knows a nice place to have a good brunch on this area? (or in another area, if it%26#39;s worth it the trip)
- any street markets or special event happening on Saturday Dec 1?
More suggestions welcome!
Merci beaucoup

Here is a regular market (not a Christmas market):
Saxe-Breteuil Market - On the avenue de Saxe.
Thursday, 7 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. and Saturday, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Metro : Segur
If you want to look for other markets on Saturdays, here are the full lists:

Thank you travelnutty, the link looks great to find this and other activities. Depending on the weather, maybe we will decide to do indoor adtivities!
I saw the Saxe%26#39;s market a few years ago, but I forgot the name. What I did not forgot was something really good we ate there (again the name escapes me, but if I saw it I will recognize!) Thanks again

I can%26#39;t find anything special going on in Paris on December 1st. Here is the Christmas market list; there are several, not only the one at La Défense that a previous poster mentionned. But several start only December 5, 6 or 7th. Be careful : dates in french are : day first, then month en then year; for exemple 07/12/07 means December 7th

Attention ! In Paris brunch is usually served on Sunday, not as frequently on Saturday.
Carmine is not far from your hotel, has a great brunch on Sunday, but not sure on Saturday :
Carmine
81, Avenue Bosquet, 75007 Paris
Tel : 08 25 00 54 56

Thank you Only-lyon!!
OK, so I was not just me being unable to find anything special happening there! ;-)
Yes I know that brunch is usually on Sundays, but we thought it was possible some places may had these on Saturday too. Anyway, it%26#39;s not a big deal. We never had a bad breakfast or lunch in France, and sure there is plenty to do, just wandering around as we usually do when in Paris. My question was more in case there was something %26quot;not to be missed%26quot;, that we could miss by ignorance.
Regarding the calendar dates... I guess is only the Americans who wrote these in an odd way. We Europeans do it in the logical order ;-)) (just joking!!)
