suggestions for a good meal by Sacre Coure

Bonjour!

We are trying to find a delicious, low-mid priced restaurant by Sacre Coure, to go and eat at after a special Mass...any suggestions...I don%26#39;t want anything touristy. THANKS!

The best meal, in my opinion, up at the top of Montmartre is la Mere Catherine right there on the square with the artists. All of the places in that area are fairly touristy. If you head down to the Absesses metro stop the whole avenue there is loaded with nice places to eat. Just check out the menus out front for what is being served and the prices.

Hi there - I DON%26#39;T recommend au Clarion des Chaussers (they are on one corner and have the centre %26#39;under cover%26#39; area as well)....I have on a previous visit enjoyed a reasonable meal for their fixed price menu - but last time - ugh! - terrible food, poor service - never again!!! Also watch out for the price of a glass of coke - and ask for the price of the wine - often they don%26#39;t tell you and you end up paying far too much...it%26#39;s a bit of a trap in that particular area - but I will still go there (a bit more informed, now) when I%26#39;m in Paris in May..I do love the ambience in the night..
