travelling to Paris on 24-nov

Hi all,

We are a couple and we have booked flight tickets to travel to Paris on 24th Nov....we would be there for 3 days.We would like to get advise on how to travel from CDG airport to Place De Clichy and the places that can be seen by walk as transport is a problem due to strike.

This is our first visit to Paris. Can anyone just guide us about certain attractions nearby.....and their routes? We would also like to know whether to opt for sightseeing tours .....Are they working?

If it is not possible to see Paris attractions ....then is it better to cancel our tickets?but its going to cost a lot......

PLEASE HELP USSSSSSS

I%26#39;m not going to be overly helpful...but I thought I%26#39;d add something. We are heading to Paris on Nov. 22 and are in a similar boat...although we%26#39;ve been there before.

There seem to be some very mixed reviews about the status. Some reports are saying it%26#39;s HORRIBLE, some are saying it%26#39;s not so bad.

It seems you can get into the city from the airport fairly easily, although I don%26#39;t know how long you%26#39;ll sit in traffic. But it seems you can get in via a Taxi - so I wouldn%26#39;t worry about that.

If you don%26#39;t have any mobility issues and don%26#39;t mind walking, I think you%26#39;ll be fine. I%26#39;ve looked up the tour buses myself (hop on/hop off type) and they seem to be running. Again, they may be caught in massive traffic, but you can at least get to them (so it seems).

If I were you and it was going to cost me a lot to cancel the trip, I would just go. You%26#39;ve got almost a full week for things to settle down.

good luck!
