Paris strike

Have woken this morning, read more threads and really not sure what to do, we will lose £250 approx if we cancel, however we don%26#39;t mind walking and only have hand luggage, can anyone give any advice on what to do in light of the strikes and is the metro working now

Don%26#39;t Cancel - that would be silly ! Just be prepared for a few delays and treat it all as part of the experience !

When you land just go to the RER train station - if the trains are not running there should be a free coach service to Gare du Nord. Then take bus 42 or a taxi to your hotel from there.

Even if you can%26#39;t visit all the places that you had intended, it is surely better to visit some of them than to visit none of them and loose £250 !
