Transportation Questions-CDG Airport to Eiffel Tower

We will arrive on a Sunday, in December with cruise luggage. We are contemplating a 3 day stay at the CDG Sheraton since we fly out from there to London. Does it make sense to travel into Paris daily while staying at the Sheraton? What is the fastest/least expensive way to get into Paris from the Sheraton? IF we stay at a hotel in central Paris how best to get there with lots of luggage? Our research shows there is no luggage storage at the airport.

Does anyone have suggestions?

Merci

The simplest way with luggage is a Taxi Parisien--there is a charge of 1€ per bag plus the metered fare.

There is public transportation from the airport to the city less expensive than a taxi--but why go back and forth? You can find a decent hotel in Paris that would be cheaper than the Sheraton.

I am currently at CDG airport in the airlines lounge waiting for our flight back to Orange County. We know how it is to have a ton of luggage as we had a total of 7 pieces for 4 persons. We decided it was best to book a private airport transfer on arrival parishuttle.com/paris_private_transfer.php… for 80Euro. We were given a van large enough to transport all of our luggage and they even picked us up separately at 2 terminals since we were coming in on different flights. It probably is cheaper to go via Taxi but trying to secure a van instead of a car may be challenging and it is the last thing you want to worry about after a 13+ hour flight.

For our return the hotel concierge (Hilton Paris) arranged a Taxi (van) which cost us 56 Euro.

Have fun in Paris. It%26#39;s a wonderful city - we loved the graciousness of the people even with the terrible transportation strike that took place during our whole stay. We took taxis everyone and had very friendly and informative drivers. Most of them surprisingly spoke English and it was like a mini tour on each ride.
