Jan. Visit - Plane vs. Train

I have a few days business but do not see any good airline connection times after arriving internationally in Amsterdam or Paris. Might the TGV be a practical option?

I%26#39;ll get the Brandt guide and see what might be possible to see in a few days given the January weather. Suggestions are always appreciated.

If you fly into Roissy-CDG, you can take the TGV directly from there. When searching for trains on the SNCF website (http://www.voyages-sncf.com), type AƩrport CDG 2 TGV for departure city. The airport in Amsterdam doubles as a train station as well, so you could also take the train to Lille from there.

The train is the way to travel. You will not find a flight from Paris from Lille, and the train from CDG goes directly to Lille faster than any plane will get you centre to centre.

http://www.lille.aeroport.fr/gb/default.asp will show you your flying options from Lille
