Parking a car

Is parking a car difficult/costly in Nice?? We are considering booking the Citea Nice Acropolis in June/July. I believe that is on Boulevard Risso.

You%26#39;d most likely need to park in a garage, unless your hotel provides parking. Street parking is difficult to find, especially during daytime.

As per the Citea Residence web site, they have parking facilities at 6€ per day and 27 € for the week. It would be less expensive than the Jean-Bouin car park , Fares: 1h00 : 1,5 €, 2h00 : 2,9 €, 24 heures : 16,5 €.

Do you really need a car? Public transport is good and very cheap. A car is necessary only if you want to go inland. Driving in Nice is no fun at all and minor accidents are very common.
