hi,myself and my boyfriend are goin to paris for the first time from the 26th-30th nov.we have booked a dinner cruise for one night and are staying quite central so looking forward to sightseeing.the problem is, we hadnt planned on going to eurodisney because i dont like to go on any rides,but everyones saying that we should go for the experience.am wondering if its a waste of money/time to go to eurodisney if i wont go on the rides?or would the experience of going and seein eurodisney be enough in itself?all comments welcome,thanks

Well I wouldn%26#39;t waste your very short time to visit by going to Disneyland, BUT, I think you may be surprised. It IS worth going on some of the rides, they are NOT all scary type rides, my 75 old granny went on some of them. They are more like %26quot; atmosphere %26quot; rides. Pirates of the Caribbean is fun, and there is only little whoosh, that a six yr old could handle. Sme with many ohters.
As for wasting money , YES, it is a waste if you truly refuse to go on any rides, you pay the full whack whether or not you go on a ride, and frankly, in Nov weather is not great so its not like you will want to spend the day admiring the prettiness and eating ice cream now is it.

thanks for your comment,its just that it sounds like an %26quot;Enchanting Experience%26quot; and id hate to not go there and regret it!!but i guess we%26#39;ll just go to Paris and see how we feel when we%26#39;re there and decide..thanks

there is too much to see and do in Paris, especially if you haven%26#39;t been before, to waste time going somewhere you%26#39;re already ambivalent about. Don%26#39;t go - relish your Paris experience instead.

hi, i only had 3 days in paris recently with my 11 yr old daughter so we HAD to do disney. we arrived at about 9.45am and didnt leave till the 7pm train and in the whole day only got on 7 rides( we did stop for lunch and did some shopping in this time aswell) we queued for an hour for dumbo but a technical fault occured just as we were about to go on so that was a complete waste of time! also a few more were on fault that day too including big thunder mountain, if u do go id recommend its a small world ride as a dont miss experience but i only had a short time in paris id rather spend an hour queueing to go into the louvre or somewhere else more interesting than disney!!! enjoy the trip..

Thanks for all your comments..think i mite give disney a miss this time.with the weather n all..we%26#39;re just goin for a short romantic break and we%26#39;ve a seine dinner cruise booked for the 2nd nite so that should keep us occupied!!cheers xx

Take from this Southern Cali girl who LOVES and goes to Disneyland about 4 times a year and has been to Disneyworld several time...DON%26#39;T WASTE YOUR TIME! There is SO much culture and beauty to see in Paris, don%26#39;t waste your time on the conglomerate that is supposed to be the %26#39;happiest place on earth%26#39; . Everything is immensly overpriced, overcrowded (unless you get lucky and go on a non-busy day; usually Dec 26), and over rated. If you%26#39;ve seen one park, you%26#39;ve seen them all. They are just layed out slightly differently.
However, if you have never visited a Disney park, you may want to experiance it. And there is something magical about being there with a boyfriend/significant other :).

I have to say that I can appreciate the different opinions that have been offered so far. First I have to say that Paris is truly magical and there are SO many things to do that there is never enough time to do them all! But I have to disagree with the opinion that %26quot;If you%26#39;ve seen one you%26#39;ve seen them all.%26quot; I am a Disneyland California Annual Passholder and former WDW Cast Member. DLP is MUCH different from the other parks. It is much more beautiful than any of the other Disney Parks worldwide. If you can spare a day it is well worth it. It would be easy to skip it every visit you might make to Paris due to the amount of things to do here. But at least one visit should be in order.

%26quot; much more beautiful %26quot;
Wow, I sure don%26#39;t argee there, it is not. It is the same old same old and I have been to the Disneyland in Calf a few times. DLP , especially IN WINTER is nothing special at least in Orlando and Anahiem you may have decent weather., it will be cold and possilby rainy at DLP, mind you , there won%26#39;t be crowds, especially during week.
|||
I would skip it with no regrets!

I agree, definitely stick to Paris. You will need all your time exploring the city especially as it%26#39;s your first time.
