Hi
we are doing our usual ski trip this year, and looking for reasonable hotel for en route stopover. Always find something stupid ££ or horrible!! Just looking for good value for money, it is just for a sleep.
Off the A6 between Tournous %26amp; Macon would be great, previously stayed at the Terraces in Tournous, excellent, but not quite for us.
thanks for your help

We always have a problem finding a good place to stay when we travel to the south of France by car in the area you mention.
This year we stayed in the Ermitage Corton just to the north of Beaune. easily reached by comming off the motorway at Niuts St Georges and then a very short drive to pick up the motorway in the morning.
Our room was comfortable and clean. The main attraction for us was that you could bring your own wine into the restaurant for dinner and they did not charge corkage.
I will be interected in other recommendations.

Here%26#39;re a couple weblinks you might find useful:

Alternatively, have a look at a recent Michelin Guide to France - we%26#39;ve always found it most useful when planning a stay in a new region.
Have a good trip
