I am travelling on a long flight from Sydney to Paris direct via Dubai next June. I am travelling with my wife and three children. We arrive at CDG at 1.30pm in the afternoon and have an apartment in the Marais district. We do not want to have to dela with trains and buses are there taxis or a limo service that could accommodate five of us and what would the cost be.
Thanks
John

John, we were in Paris in October and booked a shuttle (yellow van) on the internet before I went. There were 2 of us and it cost EUR 18.00 each and they dropped us directly in front of our hotel in the same area you will be staying (fabulous district, will definitely stay there again).
However, with 5 of you, IMO a cab would be cheaper. If you do a search on TA via the forums, there%26#39;s some great info there, this is a common question asked so there%26#39;s lots of threads.
And no no no to the train, unless your kids are teenagers and above, the metro is full stairs, too exhausting especially after that long trip.

Just walk out to the taxi line--legitimate cabs have Taxi Parisien on the roof. There might be a wait for a big enough vehicle. Have the address written down to show to the driver. Pay the metered fare and 1€ per bag. There is a charge of 2,60€ for the fourth and the fifth passenger.
