We%26#39;re doing a trip with the kids next Summer, and will leave by train to Koln relatively early on departure.
I%26#39;m trying to source a hotel that will accommodate a family of 5 with little luck.
Any Citadines that I try show a limit of 4 people.
Any suggestions greatly appreaciated.
With the kids, have stayed in 1st Arr, which has worked out well, but factoring in train journey.....help?
Thanks.

If your goal is to stay near Gare du Nord for the early train, and want someplace a bit easier to round up kids, bags, etc.. You could look at
Cambrai Hotel
129 bis, boulevard Magenta, 75010 Paris
http://www.hotel-cambrai.com/
5-person room 110€
It is a budget, no-frills hotel... read the reviews well, I only scanned them.

Thanks for that travelnutty.
Will have a look. Do you know any 4 * that would have rooms to facilitate 2 adults, 3 under 10 years?
Should have probably left out train journey, as I can always move this back a bit..
Thanks again!

Well the Cambrai is far from being a 4*, LOL..
You might have to call some hotels so you can provide the childrens%26#39; ages...
The Golden Tulip Royal Garden evidently has an apartment with 2 king beds + sofabed (possibly 690€ per night)
http://www.royalgardenparis.com/
and...
http://paris-claridge.frasershospitality.com/
that site will let me enter 3 adults, 2 children but not 2 adults, 3 children - go figure
- has an %26#39;internet rate%26#39; of 655€ for a 2-bedroom apt.
- or a %26#39;non-cancellable%26#39; rate of 405€ / night

Travelnutty. You%26#39;re the best. Thanks a million.
